All stories will be evaluated, and where suitable, be incorporated into our archive. We will then produce a book using the archive as a reference source. The book will be available at a discount to all who have contributed, and to anyone who has a Kirkleees passport. Complimentary copies will be supplied to all local libraries, and the County Archivist.

In addition to the book, the archive will be made available in the form of a CD or DVD. As part of the launch, expected to be in February 2006, there will be a photographic exhibition accompanied by a small drama production. This will be displayed on a touring basis at local venues.

The whole archive will be stored in the archive rooms at the Watershed, a new community facility currently under construction in Slaithwaite.

The archive content should provide a great source of information available freely for use by anyone who wishes to study it. All documents submitted will become the property of the archive, and recognition will be given to the contributors.
